Congratulations—you've just taken the first step toward an exciting new chapter! From here on, you'll never wonder how to fill your time, as we’ll help you do it by connecting you with new friends and shared interests. This is the beginning of a mutually rewarding journey, as your support and involvement is essential to us as a Branch.
We’re thrilled to invite you to our monthly meetings, some are purely social but most feature a guest speaker who will delve into fascinating topics or talk about their life experiences. All monthly meetings provide refreshments. These gatherings take place on the second Monday of every month at 2 p.m. in Borough Green Village Hall, so be sure to mark your calendars. These meetings are free to attend for members but non-members are welcome and can attend for a small fee. Membership cost £20.00 a year.
We’re here to listen and welcome any ideas you have to enhance the u3a experience! Each u3a branch is different although they share the same ethos of life long learning through social interaction. This branch is membership driven and may vary it's running to a branch your friend / relation belongs to. However, its Executive Committee is open to suggestions and welcomes member involvement.
Thanks to our members’ enthusiasm and teamwork, we’re delighted to announce that we launched many active interest groups in just our first year. Our goal is to keep expanding and exploring new interests, with your input leading the way.
Members stay updated, via our bi-monthly newsletter delivered by email. A printed copy is available should you not use email, simply let us know. Or check out updates on this website and our Facebook page.
